“SHINE” stands for something very special here. It stands for the values parents instill and we support in every way: Self-control, Honesty, Inspiring others, Never giving up, and striving to Embody Christ every day. We educate children from preschool through 8th grade, and in that time, foster close, supportive relationships with our students and our families. SJV is a joyful, diverse, faith-centered school community focused on meeting our children where they are and helping them grow. We are here to make sure our students feel loved, supported, grounded in faith, and confident in their growing abilities.
We are Fiercely Faithful, which means we are passionate about prayer, service, and using our gifts to the best of our ability to serve God. You can see that in how our students live their faith, how they interact, and how they work. This is possible because of our strong partnership with parents who, together with our dedicated, mission-focused faculty and staff, surround our students with models of faith, community, work, and service. We know our students, celebrate their gifts, and support them in all the ways they grow during these important, formative years.
