Join us for Cursillo

APRIL 6-9 at

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Belmont

Church Address: 6369 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306

Cursillo  (cur SEE yo) is a Lay Movement of the Catholic Church started in Spain, which presents a method and strategy for living basic Christian Ideals.  The inherent message of Cursillo is to share one’s Christianity in the normal everyday activities of life…with your family, in your workplace, in your neighborhood and in your parish community.

Cursillo  begins with a three day experience, starting on Thursday evening and ending on Sunday afternoon.  The format consists of a series of presentations given by lay team members and the spiritual directors.  Topics center on the Christian Ideal and the Christian approach to others and the world.  Several talks are given on the Catholic faith life.

Cursillo  days are punctuated by bountiful meals and heartfelt prayers, stories and songs.

“I never laughed so much, sang so loud or prayed so intently in my whole life.”

Cursillo  continues with a desire to live out the Cursillo experience in our everyday lives during our FOURTH DAY.

DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO GROW SPIRITUALLY IN YOUR CATHOLIC FAITH!
